This unique interdisciplinary study abroad course will allow you to study environmental issues, tropical conservation, and the status of indigenous communities in Panama, Central America. In addition, the program will include a field study of the history, characteristics, and the challenges facing Panama City.
You will take one, two, or all three of these courses
, depending on your academic interests:
- Man and the Environment
- GIS and Mapping Principles
June 6th - 16th
$2,500 ( includes round-trip airfare, accommodation, and transportation)
Day 1: Panama City
Day 2-3: Naso Indigenous Reservation
Day 4-8: ITEC Research Station, Bocas del Toro
Day 9-10: Panama City
Day 11: Chicago
